Long form: all of this in the movie scream "budget!": hack writing [seriously, I've written a better dialogue, & I Wonderbread supporters!], super tight camera angles (to mask the fact that they were shooting all the exteriors while the street without having to hassle with w/a is allowed, perhaps?), mid-70s monoaural sound quality, casting unknowns, etc.
As far as I'm concerned, the only reason to own this movie is so you can see how far the Tiffany Hines outshines the material given to him; I expect him to become a big star! All the other talent to take decent performance too, but they are really held back, they got the material: Ms. Hines has the ability to do what he has to do it, regardless of the given &.
The only way to save this dog would be, if it would have been more in the skin, as it is, the story of the characters are not very credible & pacing is poor, and the direction is so limited, it interferes with the story.
