Since 1995, Pixar has been dominated by the computer animated film. They constantly win Academy Awards (9 nominations, for best animated film, 7 WINS) and have generally praised efforts by critics. Almost every Pixar film has a handful of experiences or it tries to teach and tell the subject area.
Toy Story trilogy (friendship, getting older)
A bug's life (self-esteem, ingenuity, teamwork)
Monster Inc. (greed, pride)
Finding Nemo (a father-son relationship, growing up, letting go)
The Incredibles (family values)
* Cars and cars 2 (I'm pretty sure that these are just marketing toys)
Ratatouille (friendship, confidence, trust)
WALL-E (consumerism, environmentalism)
Up (to love, to live a life at the moment)
Brave (family values, respect, love, mother-daughter relationship).
However, after seeing the MU and reading, critical reviews, I was shocked by how many reviewers suggesting a movie and Pixar decided to address important issues in the film. You can even make a claim of lessons are more courage than previous MU Pixar Movie. Which leads to why MU is, ultimately, failure and why it's okay.
It is clear as the movie college, is a typical and intrinsic classes of characters (when you can find your place, grow, building friendships), but an important and surprising lesson is the winner of the Mike Wazowski fail. The lesson is particularly unique and groundbreaking approach to the Generation Y (a thousand years) age groups and Z. Generational researcher and author Ron Alsop claimed that the millennial generation is a group of "trophy kids" who received prizes just for participating. I am a thousand years and, like many of my friends growing up, we all got gold ribbons at events, homework, constant rewards us with only our work, etc. You could also argue we are constantly told that we could achieve anything if we worked hard. We were told there was no way we can fail. This is the ultimate question, where MU is handled transparently.
The little monster age Mike is fond of the career of the work that each monster scarer-dreams of. Is the cream of the crop. Mike explains the constant little monster that he is too small and not enough of a frightening success. It is only the door on the floor, she creeps into the live monsters, Inc. scare the people believe he is capable of great things. He used the moment to work hard and get to the monsters of the University to study the alarmism of the school.
The main plot is the competitive nature of the hard-working with Mike and the famous last name Sullivan. Competition drives the story, until they are forced to work together to get back to scaring school. Like all the feel good movies, Mike Sullivan will eventually save the day, win a scare among the games and cheered for, and are admired by everyone in the school. They defeat the oppressive Dean and defy the expectations of the day is theirs! But it is right that the writers (Robert l. Baird, Daniel Gerson, Dan Scanlon) will revolutionize things.
Sullivan admits to cheating to help the lovable losers to win the team and save the face of Mike, who are, in his opinion, is not scary. When Mike finds out, he breaks into the lab to prove to himself that he is indeed a scary door. However, he quickly learns that he is actually afraid of the children in the cabin. Crush, Mike goes to the nearby Lake and wallows in self-pity. All she has dreamed of and worked with had zero-he does not have to be frightening, what society says is the monsters should be the only one. Eventually, Mike accepts this and along with Sully works his way of mailing the Monsters Inc. scare floor we can find him and Sully monsters, Inc.
Although this trip to a place of success is supported by the generations to come, "work hard, and you can accomplish anything" mentality, it also deals with the fact that Mike is not finally fulfill his original goal. He admits he doesn't have and grow over. Other examples come to mind, where the character or character in the children's movies fail and are in good condition, at least not as a last resort. This is what the critics missed. Pixar has decided to tell the story of the children (monsters) grew up and understood that they will not be able to achieve their dreams, that their dreams are gone and completely impossible. The bold is really fantastic, the only kids who watch this film.
For some, it has been in decades, are taught that it is OK to deceive, that with hard work you can still achieve those dreams. For many, it is true, but some is just not possible. MU has managed to tell a story that supports a second opinion. Lack of is not a bad and realizing that some dreams are really gone also has the condition. He feels intimidated by the success of Sullivan's massive help. He will help achieve their dreams Oozma Kappa for the rest.
It is not a story about resolve, it is the story of a learning and growing experience, it is not to heal yourself and others. It is a life lesson that we should share with the present and future generations. Yes, you reach your dreams through hard work, but if you can't, it's okay, too.
